We invite you to our stand no. 38B hall 5. - Waste management Within the European Union, the following priorities have been set for waste management, the 3R:
(Reduce) Reduce waste production to a minimum.
(Reuse) If something is produced, it should be reusable.
(Recycle) If something cannot be reused, it should be recyclable into a production material. - BThe average 4 person family usually does shopping 4 times a week. Each time, plastic bags of a summary weight of 24 grams are used. This gives us 96 grams a week. Per year, it’s 4992 g, almost 5 kilograms!!!
This is the amount of plastic carried in addition to your shopping.
If, as a 4 person family, we reduce the use of throwaway bags by 2,5 kg by using reusable bags, this saves us 0,625 per person. Considering our 38 million population, this gives us 23 735 000 kg of bags. That’s almost 24 thousand tons of plastic we’d save the environment from!!! Which is almost a thousand 24 ton trucks.
